7/14/2022 JUWI Group and Windwärts Energie GmbH have been pioneers and trailblazers in the field of renew­able energies for over 25 years. The two companies implement and run wind and solar energy projects in Germany and other countries around the world. Now, they have joined together under the name »JUWI GmbH« as part of MVV Energie AG. The new company aims to protect the environ­ment and reduce depend­ence on fossil fuel imports by acceler­ating the energy transition and promoting the successful expansion of renew­able energies.

The company collabo­rated with strategy and design agency KMS TEAM to create a new brand identity and corporate design. The new tagline, »Energizing Sustain­ability«, also serves as the core of the brand that expresses the potential of the new company. The brand identity is reflected in a series of design principles: »precise & techno­logical, progressive & visionary, positive & approach­able«. The energy loop symbolises the infinite nature of renewable energies in JUWI’s communi­cation. Whether moving or still, it forms the top edge of the wordmark.

The JUWI brand identity is consistent with the MVV brand. According to Sebastian Ackermann, Head of Communi­cations and Brand MVV Energie AG: »JUWI already uses upper­case letters to express its strong and unique identity. The bold energy loop used by the MVV brand since 2017 as well as the brand colours and imagery clearly show that JUWI is a member of the MVV family.«
